At the Arch Chancellors palace...

Several days after the incident…

With heavy steps chancellor Steel approaches the laboratory. As he enters, the guards glare at him. Clearly they are suspicious. Not that they would stand a chance. Even before his augmentations he was a very capable warrior. But it does show their loyalty to the arch chancellor and that was something to respect.

Upon entering the gigantic regeneration room he could smell others inside. Perfume, a slave girl he thought and that other smell has to be of that weasel Gehenna.
Wolf lord Steel: “How is his condition, any improvements?” The slave girl jumps up, clearly startled by the chancellor’s booming voice. Gehenna on the other hand doesn’t seem to notice a thing.
Slave girl: “My lord… You startled me.”
Wolf lord Steel: “I know, now answer the question girl. I have other matters to attend too.”
Slave girl: ”Yes my lord of course, forgive me. Vehem… I mean the arch chancellor is very fragile.” She looks at the tank almost bursting to tears.
Wolf lord Steel: “I see,” he sighs. “Keep me informed of his status. Now, if you would be so kind as to leave the room. I wish to speak with our ‘esteemed’ Chief intelligence officer .” Obeying the chancellor’s command she runs out of the room. Tears flowing from her eyes.
As soon as the girl exits the regeneration room, the Wolf lord reaches for Gehenna. His hatred and loathing clearly in his eyes. But before his armoured gauntlet reaches his preys fragile neck, an energy field of some sort springs to life. Ignoring the pain from the contact with the shield his gauntlet presses forward. Until it reaches but an inch from Gehenna’s neck. Pulling back his ruined gauntlet, the Wolf lord looks at his black smoking hand. Within seconds he feels the healing procedure kick in. All the while Gehenna just stares at the Wolf lord.
Wolf lord Steel: “Neat trick worm, “he spats.
Gehenna: “ Did you really think you could harm me, chancellor? Unless I allow it so.”
Wolf lord Steel: “Keep pushing worm and you’d might just get your answer. After all it was your failure that lead to this! You insisted this place was secure, then how in Hell’s name did they get to the arch chancellor without your precious security system detecting anything?”
Gehenna: “ I… , “his answer cut short by a wave of Steels hand.
Wolf lord Steel: “… I don’t have the stomach to hear anymore excuses. The arch chancellor shall deal with you… If he recovers. So if I were you, I’d find out who did this!”

Gehenna takes a small glance at the computerscreen monitoring the Arch Chancellors status.
Gehenna: "Oooowh I think I still got plenty of time left." he says with a smirk on his face.
Clearly you could see the blood of the Wolf lord boil after that comment. And as the Wolf lord was about to launch another attempt at Gehenna's feeble neck, an image of Lilith, wearing something comparisable as the slave girls' outfit, appears between them startling Chancellor Steel for a second.
Lilith: "You called, Master?"
Gehenna: "Accompany me to my room, my.. dear. This smell of black charred ignorance is overwhelming."

Gehenna leaves the laboratory. A blue glow in his black leather cape indicating Lilith was following.. very closely.
"My security systems failing.. bah you brainless fool, if only you knew.. what I allow." he thinks to himself.
"Plenty of time.. no time.. I allready know everything.." eyes narrowing as he takes a final look at Wolf lord Steel.

Gehenna enters his personal laboratory, given to him by the Arch Chancellor a long time ago. Altho his own home had far more sofisticated trinkets, the room offered the proper tools for a variety of experiments.
He picked up one of the tranquilizerguns and inserted a vial he kept under his coat. Now armed with his homemade cocktail of neurotoxins and mindserums he approached a man sitting in the middle of the room. This man was the only survivor of the assassins that tried but failed killing the Arch Chancellor.

An evil grin appears on Gehenna's face as he lays down the gun.
Gehenna: "Looks like you are the prizewinner of my little game!"
The beaten and bloodcovered man tries to say something but can only utter some mumbling as his lips are still lasered together from when Gehenna brought him there for a so-called interrogation some while ago.
Gehenna: "Hmmm.. looks like that hole you spit nonsense out is starting to grow nicely shut. Pity that I have to rip it open again. Lilith put on some music, level.. classic."
And with that said Gehenna takes out a scalpel and cuts open the mans mouth whoes screams could reach the far end of the galaxy. Blood spilling every direction as the man cries out in pain.
After a few minutes of excruciating pain the man starts to speak. Blood spatting out with every word that comes out of his now artificialy made mouth.
Man: "W-who.. are you.. why are you doing this to me ?!"
Gehenna: "Who I am is of no concern now, little one. More important is who you are."
Man: "B-but I haven't done anything wrong!!"
The man now starting to cry.
Gehenna: "But you tried to kill our leader? Surely that's not a nice thing for you to do?" says Gehenna in such a sarcastic way, like he was talking to a child.
Man: "I didn't do it!! I went through a nightmare, I-I hadn't any control over my body! I'm but a mere ambassador from the UFP alliance.. I just came to discuss our relations, not kill anyone!! It's ever since that man approached me. Yeah! That man with the special blue hair!! He drugged me!! It's not my fault, you have to believe me!!"
Gehenna: "Owh.." he pauzes for a few seconds.
Gehenna: "I believe you.."
The man now quiet and surprised, squeezes his eyelids closer to see passed the intense light that had been shining in his eyes from the start. Gehenna, stepping into the light, lowers his hood, revealing his head to the man.

Appart from his fairly regular be it quite attractive young face there are two things that the man notices at once. Gehenna's eyes are bright blue with white flares as pupils. But the shock comes when he sees his hair.
Spiked yet wavy blue crystal-like hair. Constantly white sparks shot through every string. It moved irregular, yet gentle.. like it had a mind of its own. A faint blue glow eminated from it.

Gehenna strokes his hairs like he hasn't felt them in quite some time. Some sparks fly of into the air that douse after a few meters. He puts the hood back on.
Gehenna: "Lilith, put off the music, make special record after I gave toxin X5 to the subject." he pauzes "Let's begin."

The eyes of the man are wide open but as he wants to scream something, Gehenna takes the gun and shoots the vial empty in the man's neck and whispers "Arch.. Chanchellor..Vehemence..". Instantly the man gasps for air. He shakes the chair he's constrainted in.
Gehenna: "Now tell me what you did!"
Man: "You bastard and your bastard alliance!! You are filth to me!! To US!! The United Federation of Planets looks to you as pigs!! Arch Chancellor Vehemence has to die like one so we are rid off the cancer you call VnV!! I shouldv' ripped his old head off!!"

The man's constraints take a heavy load as he gets more and more violent every second spewing more gibberish and damnations. The toxin made him agressive beyond imagination and gave him a beserker strength. But Gehenna knew this would happen and just smiled.
And then it happened..
the man broke out of his bounds and immediatly went for Gehenna, madness in his eyes..
and collapsed dead on the floor. A liquid goo poor out of the cavaties of his head. His brain was literally melted by the toxin Gehenna gave him.

Gehenna: "Stop record, Lilith."
Lilith: "Yes, Master."
Gehenna: "Send it to every officer of our alliance."
Lilith: "Done, Master."
Gehenna: "Good.. that went good.. ..very good.."
Gehenna: "Send Protein T7 to Lab Alfa, I need to pay the Arch Chancellor a visit at once."

The Arch Chancellor Enters his throneroom. It is filled with VnV Nation Officials, all the nobles are there, as are all he leaders and diplomats of VnV Nation. The otherwise so dark and gloomy thronerooms has been decorated with scarlet banners bearing he crest of VnV Nation. Everyone is in dress uniform, and they rise from their chairs as the Arch Chancellor enters. He walks up to the dias with the monolithic ruby throne, steps up and seats himself comfortably, overlooking his subjects. For many it only now becomes clear that the Arch Chancellor is no longer the old man he used to be, though his voice is as harsh as ever and gives away his age:

"My comerades, my loyal sodiers, my friends... Today we have achieved a great victory. Our enemy is fleeing before us. And we have you to thank for this. You all have proven yourself worthy of this great Nation, and brought honour to its forefathers..."

Several robed servant girls enter the filled hroneroom. They carry several pedestals glitering with gold ans silver. As the Arch Chancellor continues they place the pedestals in front of the throne's dias, and the Massive armoured figure of the Wolf Lord, Chancellor Steele steps forward. He stands next to the pedestals, and scans the crowd with his icy stare. For the occasion he was not wearing his helmet.

"... Still there are some amongst you who have shown a special commitment to the success of our maneuvers... Soldiers who have fought beyond the call of duty, who saved their comerades and infliced horrible pain upon the enemy.
It is in the honour of those warriors that we stand here, recognising them as of Noble blood. I will call them out one by one, so that Wolf Lord Steele may trust upon them their reward. Let them join the ranks of the honoured few."

One by one the Arch Chancellor calls people forward, as they kneel before the Arch Chancellor and Chancellor Steele, the wolf lord hands hem their sign of Nobility: A Precious golden Neclace for a count, a silk sash with precious stones bearing the crest of VnV for a Baron, and ornate medal with the crest of VnV for a Lord.

"I call out Baron Karth Damodred. And for fighting with unrivalled strength and honour I name him Count Damodred.

I call out Lord Widah Xulub. And for proving that the pen can be mightier than any sword I name him Baron Widah Xulub.

I call out Lord James T Self. For his devotion to our members and to the cause, I name him Baron T SELF.

I call out Lord Grizzly Blacklight, for his onour even in defeat, I call him Baron Blacklight.

I call out Ernie1313. For his excellent leadership, his special contributions to the Nation and intelligence. I name him Baron Ernie1313.

I call out Viper791. For his support of our members and excellence in Battle I name him Lord Viper 791

I call our Richard Parks. For his devotion to the Nation, his hounour in combat I name him Lord Parks.

I call out Daniel Chu, for his unrivalled courage and wits in the line of fire, I name him Lord Chu.

I call out Bob Uzzel, for his strength and his bravery in the field. I name him Lord Uzzel.

I call out Marc Jacobsen, for his exemplary performance, his unvavering bravery in the field. I name him Lord Jacobsen."

As the Arch Chnecellor ends the ceremony, slave girls enter carrying pitchers of wine and silver platters with fruit...

As the assembled leaders of the alliance applauded and rose in unision, commander Maenhout rose and shook his head.
He looked at the back of the room, and saw his marines standing ready to escort him back towards his shuttle.

Though he couldn't disagree that the men who were being laureled today had done a tremendous job, he felt a bit slighted that no words had been spoken of the planets who had fallen out of the alliance's protective reach, and had struggled hardest during the war.
He had spoken in the senate, though he hadn't had the right to do so. He was mighty pleased that the lords had seen through the breach of etiquette, and had passed his motion.


Walking back across the platform, he could hear the distant rumble of te shutle's engines being started.

"Open hailingfrequency" commander Maenhout ordered as soon as he stepped on board.
"Done sir" the pilot responded.

"Lord Vehemence, thank you for your hospitality, I hope you do not misunderstand my leaving for unfriendliness, but I have a planet to rebuild."

As the vox shut down, commander Maenhout thought back of the blackened ruins on his home-planet...


The shuttle left orbit, and flames on the windshield gave way to a mighty armade floating in orbit... the ships of every planetary commander of the alliance floated through the void. In their midst commander Maenhout could just make out the lines of his flagship Antigon which would take him back home.

Seeing his ship, commander Maenhout let out a sigh

"Pilot, take us back... it is time we let ourselves be heard some more down there..."
